Biographical Information:

Marvin Brauth, a shareholder with Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A. since 1981, has been associated with the firm since 1974.  He practices in the areas of business litigation, franchising and trade association representation. 

Mr. Brauth regularly represents franchisees in connection with the review of franchise agreements, leases, buy-sell agreements, corporate representation, disputes with franchisors and other matters.  He has litigated numerous issues involving franchise agreements and franchise laws as counsel to motor vehicle retailers, The New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJCAR) and other franchisees.  As counsel to NJCAR, he has also been involved in the drafting of much of New Jersey’s franchise legislation. 

Mr. Brauth has also been a frequent contributor to automotive industry publications and has lectured extensively to franchisee audiences and to attorneys on franchising issues.

Mr. Brauth is presently a member of the American Bar Association (Member, Litigation and Franchise Law sections), New Jersey State Bar Association (Chairman of the Franchise Law Committee, Member of the Federal Practice Committee) and Middlesex County Bar Association (Chancery Law Committee and Chancery Mediator).  Mr. Brauth is a frequent author and has lectured on topics related to his practice for professional and business groups.
